Introduced in 2005, the Lucerne took the place of the LeSabre and Park Avenue in the Buick lineup and was available with either Buick's standard 3.8L V6 or Cadillac's Northstar V8 as engine options. A comfortable, competent sedan, the Lucerne was available until 2011, when it was replaced by the LaCrosse. Lucernes were available in Super, CXL, CXL Special Edition and CXL Premium trim levels.
The Lucerne is a comfortable, quiet family car and would do well with a set of all-season tires like Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max, Michelin Primacy Tour A/S, Continental CrossContact LX Sport, Yokohama Avid Ascend GT, or Kumho Crugen Premium KL33.
