Before I bought these tires, I had thought I had a suspension issue all over the vehicle. It turns out that my tires were aging and hardening. Once replaced with the Falken wildpeak A/T trail tires, it seems all my "suspension issues" went away. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good set of All Terrain/SUV Crossover tires.

As a tire manufacturer that entered the US in 1985, Japanese company Falken has grown from strength to strength with time, having several quality products to meet diverse customer needs. Customers today can browse through a range of performance, off-road, and seasonal tires, one of which is Wildpeak A/T Trail. The obstacle-crossing ability and pulling force are two aspects that point us in the right direction for a good Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail review. If you come across a similar tire with more aggressive tread patterns than the above, that would be Falken Wildpeak A/T3W.
Features and Benefits
Most buyers will be ecstatic to know that the Falken Wildpeak A/T is available with a 65,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty. Along with its superior off-road capabilities, this all-terrain tire can also handle dry and wet conditions throughout the year. It features a durable 2-ply polyester construction for maximum protection against sharp rocks and other jagged edges on off-road terrains, making a slightly aggressive pattern as compared to traditional road tires.
The Falken Wildpeak A/T rating is high due to the use of numerous technologies that have been highlighted below:
- An enriched rubber compound for long tread life
- 3D Canyon Sipe technology for additional traction on winter roads
- The grooves are properly arranged to ensure drainage of standing water
- Three Peak Mountain certified to successfully perform in extreme snow conditions
Pros and Cons
The Wildpeak A/T Trail is a popular choice for crossover vehicles, many of which were previously ignored by the industry. These tires are able to match the crossover’s high center of gravity and unibody construction. You will feel fully confident in most wet braking situations. Although designed to be of all-season/all-terrain type, the Wildpeak A/T Trail is able to draw attributes from three types of tires.
Pros
- Rugged sidewall that resists tears
- 65,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol ensures extreme snow capability
- Quieter ride year-round
- Extra grip and confidence on muddy hill terrains
- High durability
Cons
- Slight decrease in fuel economy
- A bit more expensive than competitor’s tires

Tires are working out well. My road/driveway in the Smokie's is rough with big rocks. It ruined some Goodyear Kevlar tires a couple years ago. These have done well. We have put about 3500 miles on the tires on wet, dry while empty and towing with no slipage or adverse issues. Love them so far!
We have been getting a lot of wet weather recently. So it's given me a good chance to see how they handle. Everything from very slushy wet snow to rain. I drove 40 miles in the snow last night on the highway. And they never skipped a beat. I needed performance from these tires. And I'm happy to say they have delivered.
I strongly recommend these tires, they are great. I do not recommend simpletire, they are horrible to deal with.
I really love these tires! They really make a difference in the snow. Not as great in a lot of rain but I still feel safe.
Great tire on off and on road use with no tire noise.
So far so good. They're surprisingly quiet for a light all terrain tire. The do fear the tread life being shorter than advertised though but I have done a lot of surprise highway driving. If you live in the hills or something you'll be golden I'm sure.
Amazing tires that look and feel wonderful! Tires came fast. Couldn't be happier!
just put about 2500 miles on these tires. still reading ~12/32 tread depth. recently had a tropical storm hit the north east and had no issues driving thru the wind and rain on the highway at about 60-75 mph. they are very sticky tires, almost reminded me of my UHP tires i ran on my WRX STi. factory recommend 33 PSi, i'm running 35-36 PSi. I didn't feel any lose of traction or uncertainty from the rain or winds. they grip mighty well. GIVING 1 STAR for "WINTER TRACTION" for now because apparently i have to give some sort of rating and i have no feedback regarding winter traction. def hoping to update the review during the northeastern winter when i test these bad boys in the snow and ice. not excepting too much from ice, but hopefully they do really well in the snow. other notes, i know some people may not be as interested in, but these were def heavier than my stock tires; ~2 lbs heavier each tire. i'm LOOSING about 2-3 MPG in the city. but have noticed on highway i've GAINED about 1-2 MPG on the highway. the tires have changed the look of the vehicle (Rav4 Hybrid), noticeably, to a much more aggressive looking setup. MIND YOU, THESE TIRES ARE '3PMSF' RATED AND MARKED
