2004 Toyota 4Runner Tires

Have had these tires for about 2 weeks now. Southern newyork. Have had snow and ice for about a month now. These tires have been absolutely fantastic in every condition. Whether the snow is soft or packed and icey they keep digging. Great traction on solid ice and deep mud. Had the rugged treks before these. They were the best tires I've ever run. Think these strongolds might end up being better. Got 60k out of the rugged trek in a v84runner full time 4 wheel drive. They got loud as they wore but recommend any discoverer tire.

I have been running the Firestone Destination ATs for years and had nothing but positive experiences with them but wanted to try out something more aggressive and still comfortable on long highway drives. Originally, I was looking at the Wildpeak but stumbled across the Rubitrek and the reviews were positive and reassuring. For me, they fit in between the old Firestones and the wildpeak in terms of performance and aggressiveness. They are wonderful on the highway with only the slightest increase in road noise from that of the Destinations and roll just as smooth. They feel sturdy on back roads with only a random hint of "float" while cornering but it is not consistent. I was sold on them enough that I will be ordering a set for our 2500 when the time comes.

Love these tires. Best ones I've ever put on my 4Runner.
