Buyer Beware! Purchased these for my F150 and one tire developed a sidewall bulge at around 20 days / 1000mi. Firestone is refusing to replace this tire or offer refund because it was deemed to be caused by a "Road Hazard or Improper Installation". I was denied a free replacement and had to pay for 1 new tire out of pocket, not very happy. Given Firestone's past blowout reputation, I no longer feeling very good about these tires anymore and will never again buy Firestone.

I live in the desert, so I cannot compare wet and snow traction. These are quiet, and smooth, much better than the original Nexin that came on the vehicle. I did go larger than what the manufacture calls for because I take it off road from time to time (The speedometer was also fast, now it is right). The vehicle is a Hyundai Kona 4X4. I kept the same width, which is skinny. The skinny tires do grab the groved pavement, but it is nothing that bothers me. The tread is really aggressive, but they are quiet for being as aggressive as they are. I like them and would buy them again.
Great set for long mileage and smooth quiet ride.
The new Firestone tires are wonderful. My Rav4 handles much better and the road noise is practically nonexistent. The price was right, delivery was very fast, and the Simpletire staff was terrific. Thank you for the outstanding customer service and a fine product. Tread life and winter traction don't apply. There isn't a "N/A" box to select!
Get technical:
The Destination LE3 from Firestone is an all-season tire that's designed for use on CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks and offers drivers excellent traction in wet and dry conditions along with a 70,000 mile limited tread life warranty.
Features & Benefits
- All-season tread
- Outlined White Letter or Black sidewall depending on the tire's size
- 70,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- Built with tread grooves that remove water from the tire to reduce the risk of hydroplaning
Finding a tire that performs year-round is a must for most drivers, but they also need to make sure that their tires are built to last. Fortunately, Firestone built the Destination LE3 to give drivers of CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks year-round traction and a long tread life. Backed by a 70,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty, the Destination LE3's full-depth 3D sipes create additional biting edges for excellent grip on wet or dry roads. A unique design reduces road noises to give drivers a quiet, comfortable ride, and the Destination LE'3 wide circumferential tread grooves funnel water out of the tire to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet roads.

Have a question about Firestone Destination LE3 tires?
No, Firestone Destination LE3 tires are not directional; they're symmetrical. The Destination LE3's symmetrical tread pattern means the tire can be rotated to any position of a CUV, SUV, or light truck.
Firestone Destination LE3 tires are good in light snow thanks to an all-season rubber compound, full-depth 3D siping, and circumferential grooves that all work together to increase traction in winter weather. The Destination LE3 is not Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, so it should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions.
