2013 Tesla Model-s Tires

Introduced in 2012, Tesla’s Model S is a showcase of the company’s technology, including AutoPilot, Enhanced Summon, Dual Drive all-wheel drive and much more. Motor Trend named the Model S the Ultimate Car of the Year in 2019, and the Model S continues to top driver satisfaction surveys. As if that weren’t enough, the Model S can do 0-60 in a jaw-dropping 2.8 seconds in Ludicrous Mode. Goodyear Eagle RSA-2, Continental ExtremeContact DW, Michelin Primacy MXM4 or Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires would have been OEM for this make/model.

When it’s time to shop 2013 Tesla Model S tires, remember that tire sizes could be 245/35ZR21 or 245/45R19. We’d recommend summer/ultra-high-performance tires like the Yokohama Advan Apex V601 (with 25k mile treadwear warranty), Falken Azenis FK510, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (30k mile warranty) or Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 PLUS. Summer/UHP tires deliver phenomenal cornering and steering response thanks to a softer, stickier tread formulation, but these tires will stiffen and lose traction on colder days. Summer/UHP tires should not be used when temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.
