Great in dry --they work in the snow, happy so far
This is a brand new model of tire so there were basically no reviews when i bought these so I guess i am an early tester. I have a 2014 Bmw x1 xdrive28i , so with no spare, i wanted to continue with run-flat tires. The OEM bridgestones were I think double the price of these. The RFT bridgestones that come on the car were a lot rougher riding than these Lexani's, I was pleased with these being a softer ride. Once the 500 mile break in period was over, dry performance was just fine. They've been fine in the rain. But i've now finally given them the tests in snow, I live in Ogden, UT and we've gotten blasted with some storms. I'm AWD, but have heard some stories of some tires simply not working in the snow even though they are listed as all-season. And these tires have performed fine in the snow so far, i've gone up hills on roads that are not plowed at all. I've come to complete stops in 6+ inches of snow, and been able to get going again. Haven't gotten stuck or anything. Of course like in any snow, you try to stop by hitting the brakes, and these tires just slide. So to slow down i'm downshifting to 1st gear and going really slow. But so far, i'm pleased. The treadwear is the only thing I don't know about yet. And my 2nd winter on the bridgestones was pretty bad, so it will be interesting as well to see how these do once they lose some tread for next winter. We'll see.
