Radar Renegade

Radar tires are imported by Omni United (also home to brands like American Patriot and Roadlux), one of the biggest tire distributors in the United States; these budget-priced tires are designed to deliver premium-tire quality and performance, with features and innovations usually only found on tires that cost far more. With the Renegade family of light truck tires, Radar presents a whole slate of innovations and premium features, for tires that punch far above their weight class and deliver real value and performance.

Radar Renegade X

Radar Renegade X

Designed for 4WD-equipped light trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs, the Radar Renegade X is a tough rugged-terrain tire that’s ready for the most rugged adventures. The Radar Renegade X features an aggressive all-terrain tread with wide grooves and a high void ratio that makes it easy to shed mud, stones, and debris from the tread area, helping to protect the casing and reduce wheelspin as it ensures there’s always a clear section of the tread to dig in as the wheel turns. Lugs from the shoulder extend down onto the sidewall for protection against damage and enhanced off-axis traction for cornering or clawing out of ruts. The Renegade X’s tread is optimized to reduce vibration and harshness while keeping road noise to a minimum, and its tread formulation is engineered for long, even wear and damage resistance. A built-in rim flange guards the sidewall and expensive wheels against curb scuffs.

Radar Renegade A/T Pro

Radar Renegade A/T Pro

The Renegade A/T Pro from Radar is designed to deliver the best of both worlds: outstanding all-terrain performance along with a quiet and refined ride with great road manners on the highway. The tread design of the Renegade A/T Pro features a wider center tread block for improved ride quality, handling, and stability on the highway, with interlocking tread blocks that boost grip in off-road conditions. Stone ejectors built into the base of the tread grooves protect the casing against rocks and debris, and the silica-based tread compound helps to deliver great wear properties and enhanced traction on wet pavement.

Drivers can choose between two sidewall designs for their truck’s aesthetics, with a “fang” theme on one sidewall and snake head and a “rattle” design molded into the other. The Renegade A/T Pro has the M+S rating for mud/snow traction. The Renegade A/T Pro from Radar is covered by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer’s tread life warranty.

Radar Renegade A/T5

The Renegade A/T5 from Radar is designed for versatile grip and control, including snow and ice: it boasts the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification for severe winter service. Wide center blocks of the aggressive all-terrain tread are designed to even out weight distribution and load for even tread wear and great handling, braking, and road manners on the pavement. A 3-ply sidewall gives the Renegade A/T5 excellent handling and damage resistance as well as enhanced load capacity. Stone ejectors in the groove bases protect the casing, and a computer-optimized system of grooves, angled grooves, and sipes deliver dependable traction in challenging terrain. Radar covers the Renegade A/T5 with a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer’s tread life warranty.

Radar Renegade R/T

Radar Renegade R/T

Rugged-terrain tires like the Renegade R/T are a compromise between mud-terrain and all-terrain tires in terms of design and performance, and the Renegade R/T fits nicely into that niche. Its lateral grooves, angled grooves, and sipes are all computer-optimized for a balance of off-road performance and capable handling on the pavement. Wide center tread blocks manage weight distribution for even wear and excellent stability and road manners on the highway. Open shoulders and deep grooves give the Renegade R/T the traction it needs off the road in mud, snow, sand, and loose dirt, and 3-ply construction all the way around makes the Renegade R/T an exceptionally durable tire. Radar covers the Renegade R/T with a 45,000 mile limited manufacturer’s tread life warranty.

Radar Renegade R7 M/T

Radar’s Renegade R7 M/T is a full-on mud-terrain tire that’s designed specifically for the roughest, most extreme off-road applications. It’s available in taller sizes, making it a great fit for light trucks and SUVs that are equipped with lift kits for extra ground clearance.

The Renegade R7 M/T’s wide void ratio and deep grooves efficiently clear water, mud, and debris from the tread, with stone ejectors built into the base of the tread grooves to help protect the casing. The Renegade R7 M/T is ready for rough treatment too, with a damage-resistant tread compound for durability and tough 3-ply construction. An initial tread depth of 19/32” gives the Renegade R7 M/T good wear properties along with outstanding traction and control in mud, loose dirt, sand, or snow. Shoulder lugs wrap around and extend down onto the sidewall to boost lateral grip for cornering or getting out of ruts, and a redesigned footprint gives the Renegade R7 M/T good braking and handling performance on the pavement by putting the most rubber in contact with the road.
