These are great tires; well reviewed all over. They do howl some and you can feel the lugs at time. They are not nearly as soft or quiet as a Patagonia, but I do believe you will get longer tread life out of them.

The Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tire is the perfect solution for anyone living an adventurous, off-roading lifestyle. This mud-terrain tire can be used on pick-ups, full-size SUVs, jeeps, and off-road vehicles. It offers a high level of traction and support to those encountering harsh conditions or extreme terrain. In addition, the mud-terrain tread design provides maximum grip, and the special rubber compound ensures long-lasting performance for whatever your journey may bring. And with puncture resistance and long-lasting wearability, these tires are reliable and ready for action.
But is the Geolandar M/T G003 the right tire for you? Let’s find out in this Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 review.
Features and Benefits
The Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 is an incredibly aggressive mud-terrain tire thanks to its cutting-edge triple-polymer blend with enhanced silica in the tread compound. This high-performance compound can take on extreme off-road conditions and provide a smooth ride. Furthermore, the tire's touch sidewall design and meaty shoulder blocks create a fortified wall against damaging rocks, as well as improved grip in challenging terrain. But that's not all the Geolander offers.
- Triple-polymer blend with an increased amount of silica provides strength, lower rolling resistance, and increased durability
- Sidewall and shoulder block design protect sidewalls and offer additional grip and traction in rugged terrain
- Optimized sipes enhance stability on- and off-road.
- Variable-pitch blocks and a high-void tread pattern reduce road noise on highway terrain
- Grooves between tread blocks help to clear out snow and ice from tread
- Rock-solid GEO-SHEILD construction with three polyester body plies, two high-strength steel belts, and a full-width nylon cap increases durability
The Geolander M/T G003 is an all-in-one tire that delivers supreme performance on and off the road.
Pros and Cons
Yokohama's Geolandar M/T G003 tires are an excellent option when looking for outstanding traction, grip, and durability on just about any terrain. You get excellent responsiveness and handling thanks to its high-quality tread compound and unique sidewall and tread pattern designs. It also delivers a longer tread life than traditional tires, which can be especially helpful during long commutes or adventures off the beaten path. Plus, you don't have to worry about slipping in deep snow since the Geolandar M/T G003 is designed specifically for traction and maneuverability across different terrains. As a result, the Geolander M/T G003 is an all-around mud terrain tire that can carry you through any journey.
The Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 is a workhorse tire that gets you where you need to go; however, it comes with some quirks. One of the most noticeable disadvantages is noise. So, if you are looking for a quiet ride, the Geolander M/T G003 may not be a top choice. Another factor to consider is what road conditions you will be driving through. For example, will you be driving in winter weather conditions like ice or deep snow? Those can prove challenging for this type of tire; therefore, opting for a better climate-specific option may be a smarter decision. Overall, this tire will serve you well in many contexts, but it has some limitations.

When I first got the tire I was worried I would hear them screaming going down the road and just have to be something I get used to but in truth they are extremely quiet. Obviously you can hear them but nothing I would complain about honestly. They have been fun off road and can't wait for the snow to come.
Awesome looking tire! Rides and handles excellent! Haven't tried them in the winter yet and probably will go to a straight up snow tire for winter driving.
Great tire snow just hit us hard in NH and these tires roll just fine . Have a hum to them but they are mud tires. I will be buying again.
All around great tire!
Very satisfied with my tires! Look great and feel great. I recommend buying tires from simple tire. Super good quality tires. Just what I needed. Thanks simple tire.
Good traction tire. Great for the muddy job sites and have a nice aggressive tread look. they are a little soft so they handle nice but wear a little fast. I will be buying the same tire when these wear out
Tires are great!!!they aren't loud and they are wearing evenly!!! I would recommend these tires to anyone and I will never own another brand!!!
Tires are everything I wanted and more, I will never purchase another tire for my truck and I would recommend these tires to truck owners anywhere!!!
Great looking tire with very little road noise for a 37 inch mud terrain. Seem to do very well on trails I have been on so far dry or muddy but haven't had them long enough to have been in any snow or to comment on treadwear. Great customer service and super fast shipping from simple tire. Also actually went on a 1969 Bronco not a 1980 but thats oldest option that was given.
