Wide grooves within the tire's tread evacuate water for optimal wet and winter traction
Whether commuting to work or taking the family on vacation, drivers of today's coupes, sedans, CUVs, and minivans long for a tire that provides consistent year-round performance. Yokohama designed the Avid Touring S with these drivers in mind, as it delivers exceptional ride quality and stability regardless of the weather. The Avid Touring S features four wide grooves within its tread that remove water for stronger traction on wet and wintery roads, while the tire's shoulders are designed to give drivers and passengers a quiet, comfortable ride.
Like their name suggest, all season tires are designed to give drivers performance year-round. All-season tires often provide strong performance in dry and wet conditions, and suitable traction and grip in wintery weather.
Passenger tires are some of the most common tires you'll find on the roads today, and frequently used on coupes, sedans, hatchbacks, minivans, and other passenger vehicles. Passenger tires are available in a wide variety of types, such as all-season, winter, and ultra-high-performance.
