Aftermarket rear wheels replacement for Mercedes CLS 500. Purchased Nov. 2018, completely bald with cord showing by January 28, 2019. Highway only, no racing or mountain driving. One of the few tires that come in the size (205 55 16) and run flat. I am not a fan of run flat tires, but since the MINI is our DD feel more comfortable having run flat tires. A bit noisy but expected of this type of tire.

Getting a flat tire from a pothole or other road hazard can be a scary experience for drivers as they try to safely navigate to the side of the road or a parking lot without hurting themselves, their passengers, or other drivers. Fortunately, run-flat technology was designed to give drivers the ability to keep driving for up to 50 miles at a reduced speed after a blowout. Yokohama built the Advan Sport ZPS with this run-flat technology so that drivers can stay on the roads longer. In addition to its run-flat technology, the Advan Sport ZPS also features a tread compound that gives it better wet and dry grip, while four wide grooves within the tire’s tread funnel water out of the tire to improve traction on wet roads.

Yokohama Advan Sport tires could be made at one of Yokohama's plants Salem, VA, West Point, MS, or Japan. Advan Sport tires could also be made in other parts of the world.
As an ultra-high-performance tire, Yokohama Advan Sport ZPS is available with the V speed rating, meaning that it can be driven up to 149 mph. Despite the V speed rating, the Advan Sport ZPS should not be driven at speeds up to 149 mph on the track as excessive speeds can cause the tire to wear out. Additionally, up to 149 mph is not a legal speed limit on paved roads in the United States.
