Nokian Tires

Founded in 1932, Nokian Tyres is a Finnish tire manufacturer that earned its name by introducing state-of-the-art winter tires. Celebrated for inventing the world’s first winter tire, the Kelirengas (Weather Tire), in 1934, the innovation paved the way for their most important and legendary tire family, the Hakkapeliitta, introduced in 1936. Nokian Tyre has been instrumental in improving its product quality with time, and its recent innovations have been the Aramid Strong Sidewalls and the Hakkapeliitta R5’s Arctic Grip Crystals. It sponsored the "Navigate North" rally to affirm its brand recall in drivers wanting quality winter tires. Its famous tire lines include Nordman, Outpost, and One. Nokian has been focusing on rolling out eco-friendly products that do not harm the environment.
