Occasionally noisy, but always great traction
I've had these tires for a couple months now and continue to be impressed by the traction. There's an packed snow covered hill near my house that I could easily get up after being stopped 1/2 way up in 2WD, which wasn't possible with stock all season tires. They felt far more resistant to hydropaining when compared to the stock tires. Handling is a little less sharp than the stock tires, but still feels completly stable and predictable. The only downside is that they are sometimes noisy, but not consistently and this seems heavily dependent on the road surface, and at interstate highway speeds varies from barely noticable to annoying. This seemed to improve slightly over a couple thousand miles, or maybe I just got used to it. Despite being road force balanced, and not requiring an excessive amount of weight, they do feel slightly buzzy, and I think this is due to how aggressive the tread is. Speaking of the tread, they do look quite good, if the looks of the tires matter to you. Overall, I think it was a great choice, even if they are a little less refined that other Nokians that I've had in the past like the WRG4.
