We have 3 sets of Patagonias; A/T, M/T and X/Ts. All have between 5000-12000 miles on them and all are cupping/scalloping badly. This causes loud road "hum" and vibration in steering wheels of our Sequoia, Tacoma & 4Runner. Wouldn't buy this brand again.

Milestar Tires provide a wide variety of tires for passenger, high performance, ultra-high performance, light truck, and commercial medium radial truck applications. Their products are designed to be of high quality and performance.
The Milestar Patagonia M/T is a mud terrain tire that provides strong traction and performance on- and off-road. These are designed for use on light trucks and SUVs.
However, is this the best tire for your light truck or SUV, as well as your wallet? Let's take a look at a Milestar Patagonia M/T review to see if it's the right tire for you.
Features and Benefits
You'll need tires which are designed for rock crawling, desert exploration, mud bogging, dunes play, or a leisurely drive over mountain routes if you're an explorer. Do these tires perform well on all of these terrains? Let us look at their features and benefits to get an answer to this question.
- Enhanced mud-terrain traction: The high-void tread design adds more biting edges while also forcing out rocks and other debris for sustained traction on soft and loose terrain. These tires also have angled biting edges and a sophisticated siping pattern to improve on- and off-road traction and performance.
- Improved all-season traction: By keeping the tire near to the road on all surfaces, the tread shape guarantees improved year-round traction. Both the long-lasting compound and symmetric tread design of Patagonia M/T improve road traction in dry, rainy, and winter conditions.
- Self-cleaning tread: Stone ejectors and staggered tread blocks disperse aggressively, distribute and eject mud and snow. In addition, the high-void tread design promotes self-cleaning while providing powerful biting edges.
- Better durability: Without letting the ideal shape to deviate, a reinforced sidewall structure boosts load capacity while also protecting against impact damage from rock, stone, and other debris.
- Damage resistance: When exposed to rocks, stones, and other debris, the 3-ply sidewall offers increased durability against punctures and damage. For further defense against damage that is frequently sustained while driving off-road, the tires have a cut- and chip-resistant rubber compound. Moreover, stone ejectors reduce stone retention, and the tougher substance prevents chipping and cuts brought on by the rocky terrain.
- Solid handling: To enhance steering response and driving stability, the Milestar Patagonia M/T increases the surface contact of the tread design. On the other hand, the reinforced ply construction keeps the ideal tire shape while under load and driving pressure. With this setup, the tire's heavy-duty performance can be improved. In other words, the positioning of the center tread block increases controllability and maneuvering.
Pros and Cons
So, is it a good fit for your light trucks or SUVs? Before giving our final opinion, let's first look at its Pros and Cons:
- Aggressive design and large voids to improve soft and loose terrain traction
- Angled biting edges to offer on and off road traction
- Q-speed rated performance
- Elaborate siping and enhanced tread design boost superior water dispersion
- Radial construction and 3-ply sidewall protect the tire from punctures and damage
- to offer extreme durability
- Cut and chip compound protect the tires from the damage that is caused by rocks and gravel in rough conditions
Although the Milestar Patagonia M/T has many features and advantages, there may be room for improvement in a few areas, including:
- Road noise and vibration could be reduced
- Service and tread life could be improved
SimpleTire’s view on Milestar Patagonia M/T tires
If you're looking for a distinctive mud-terrain tire, the Milestar Patagonia M/T is a great option. When compared to the Crosswind M/T and the Radar Renegade R7 M/T, the Milestar Patagonia M/T offers superior traction, handling, and performance all year long.
While the Milestar Patagonia M/T costs a little more than the Crosswind M/T and a little less than the Radar Renegade R7 M/T, it offers better performance. Overall, the Milestar Patagonia M/T is a fantastic choice for a mud-terrain tire due to its exceptional performance.
Vehicles the Milestar Patagonia M/T is a good replacement tire for
Even though it is not used as original equipment, the Milestar Patagonia M/T is a great replacement tire for vehicles like the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Jeep Wrangler, and Ford F-150.

I've put over 40k on them from the mountains in WY to my farm in MN and they've been my absolute favorite tire. That being said, if you're not VERY diligent in rotation they will wear badly and become the loudest tire ever and get rough on the highway. However I would definitely buy them again even though in 2020 I bought them for $165 a piece and now they are $240 plus.
tread wore so quickly then shook the truck until my diff seal broke. they are cheap for a reason
These are the best tires I've owned. I was worried that Matt's Offroad Recovery was talking them up on YouTube because they are sponsored. Not the case they are the perfect tires for me!!!
Great mud tires for daily driving, no whoomp whoomp whoomp when driving on the highway. I was recommended these by my brother and I would and have recommend them to others.
Just got these right before the snow hit in Oregon and they have been great. And also great on wet roads.
Only had mine on for two weeks now and was in snow, rain, mud and dry. So far these tires have been great for me. I will see how they are completely in a little more time, but really are liking them.
Love the tires works great
Best tire period!! 2nd set buying. 1st set is on my 2007 Lincoln Mark LT, lifted 6" 38/12.5x20. Had Nitto tires, they sucked. Now buying for my 2016 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited 4dr, 35x12.5x20 which currently have Open Country tire. Both the Nitto and Open Country tires sucks. hard, bad when cold and wet, wonder all over. My Lincoln handles great now, no noise and got a little better mileage. You will not be disappointed period!
Nice tire, decent look, great price
