SimpleTire’s view on Mastercraft Courser MSR tires

A studdable winter tire like the Mastercraft Courser MSR offers a lot of flexibility to users since not all winter conditions will require studs. Despite being a winter tire, it is equally capable of performing in mud as well. Patented technology like the Snow-Groove design makes the tire stand out in terms of traction through biting edges and retention of snow in the tire’s outer grooves, leading to a high Mastercraft Courser MSR rating. High tread depth is responsible for enhanced levels of control and grip, as is the tread compound. With this being a symmetrical tire, you can expect it to be comfortable.

Vehicles the Mastercraft Courser MSR is a good replacement tire for

My wife and I, are so pleased to find tires for our, 2002 Toyota Tacoma, that give the performance and comfort like a passenger vehicle. The tire also reduced turning radius without reducing the vehicle turnover safety it being a high profile truck. This tire has and continues to out preform any tire we have previously had on this vehicle. WE will be looking for the same quality with our next simple purchase from, Simple Tire...;p

Best winter tire I've had on my F150. Considering the void space, they are very quiet and give an excellent ride. They like to be rotated every 4K or so. I'll be buying another set once these are worn out. 20k on them and counting

Have mounted as my dedicated snow tires. Work very well in wet slush through powder. Very quiet considering how open void the tread it. I rotate these every 5k miles, wearing nice and even. I have 25k on them, have at least one more season in them. Wet traction has dropped a bit as tire wear past 1/2 depth. Not awful, just less than when newer I just hope mastercraft keeps making this design!

Very good tire with little road noise. Great in the snow and will never buy a directional snow tire again. Now I can rotate the tires and get even wear and more life from the tire's.

Used them on personal truck and on the fire departments support truck. These tires are great with studs. Little noisy when you get some miles on them, but they grip and they are a great price.

Have had 4 sets of the Mastercraft Courser tires. This is a snow tire and is a good tire for winter conditions. The ride seems good and the traction is good. I live in the WV Mountains and the winter weather can be harsh at times. These tires perform well on the highway and on old mountain dirt roads. I do not recommend these tires for year round driving. They are a good snow tire, but they wear down fast in dry conditions. You won't get much more than a year out of them if you use them year round, and for me, that's about 15,000 miles.
