    Features and Benefits

An ideal all-season tire is supposed to deliver year-round performance by ensuring a seamless grip and traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. The Kumho Crugen Premium KL33 is that ideal tire you seek for your CUV, SUV, or Jeep. Let’s look at the host of innovative features and benefits which will help the purchasers understand the tire’s potential.

    • Strong wet weather performance – The Crugen Premium KL33 features wide 4-channel circumferential and lateral grooves that evacuate water quickly and reduce the chances of hydroplaning, thus providing superior drainage and strong wet weather performance.
    • Noise-free and comfortable rides – The tread design of this tire features unique noise-canceling tread elements that remarkably reduce road noise by not letting the airwaves channel through the tread blocks. The rubber compound of the tire is nicely cushioned to absorb road vibrations and ensures a comfortable riding experience.
    • Improved fuel efficiency – The advanced silica compound of this tire is engineered for low rolling resistance. This allows the tire to effortlessly roll on the surfaces without losing the force and helps in reducing fuel consumption.
    • Enhanced grip performance – The tread of the Crugen Premium KL33 features deep micro treads that provide a large number of tiny gripping edges for enhanced road grip.
    • Better braking performance – The continuous siping and silica-rich compound provide constant control and keep the tire glued to the surface. This boosts its braking efficiency in both dry as well as wet conditions.
    • Responsive handling – Similarly, the continuous center rib, solid shoulder blocks, and wider contact patch of this tire provide a superior level of handling.
    • Solid durability – The tire has sturdy tread and sidewalls that provide solid durability. The robust sidewalls guard the rim from damage during the drive.
    • Backed by exceptional warranty – To ensure that the purchasers have a pleasing ownership experience, Kumho offers a 60,000 miles limited manufacturer tread life warranty on this tire.

The Crugen Premium KL33 is offered in 16 to 20-inch rims and is available in a total of 24 sizes. Some of the available sizes of this tire are listed below:

SimpleTire’s view on Kumho Crugen Premium KL33 tires

If you need an affordable touring, all-season tire for your crossover, SUV, or Jeep, the Kumho Crugen Premium KL33 can be one of the most versatile options in the category. It might not appear as charming as a typical Pirelli all-season tire, but it has so many things that cumulatively ensure better year-round performance.

The traction and handling in dry and wet conditions are better than some of its counterparts and it is backed by a solid 60,000 miles limited manufacturer tread life warranty. The durability standards of the tire are very good and even its tread noise levels and vibrations are very much in control. In light winter weather conditions, you can trust this tire, however, it is not made for use in moderate to harsh winter weather conditions. Additionally, its tread is optimized to boost fuel efficiency. That being said, the tread life of this tire isn’t as great as some of its competitors and also some customers have reported that while driving at high speeds the wet grip isn’t very impressive. But overall, it serves as a value-for-money option and doesn’t put much of a dent in the wallet.

The Crugen Premium KL33 manages to adjust itself as a reliable choice against the likes of Hankook Dynapro HP2 (RA33), Goodyear Assurance MaxLife, Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 and Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus.

The tires seem fine, but there were a lot of problems with delivery. When I first ordered the tires they were sent to the wrong place. Then, the tires could not be found, so there was another order generated. It took over two weeks and many phone calls with long hold times plus several emails to get it resolved and get my tires. The service at AAA in toms River was fine once they finally got the tires.
