  • Goodride ST100 Tire Review

Spending a few years on the market, Goodride Tire is a promising player in the budget tire category. A part of China’s number one tire manufacturer, Zhongce Rubber Group Co., Ltd. (ZC Rubber), Goodride rolls out quality tires for passenger cars, commercial, CUVs, SUVs, light trucks, and trailers under different categories such as all-season, UHP summer, highway-terrain, and all-terrain.

Designed for specialty trailers, the Goodride ST100 features a unique tread design with double steel belted construction for added strength and ruggedness that is good enough to carry heavy loads and increases the towing capacity of the vehicle. While the innovative HEAT-LESS technology (with heat-resistant compounding) negates the effects of tire aging and prolongs the tire’s service life, the low rolling resistant rubber compound allows less friction while on the move leading to improved fuel efficiency.

So, is it worth going for? Let's try to answer in this Goodride ST100 review.

    Features and Benefits

Trailer tires are designed to offer great durability and longer tread life with adequate performance in different driving conditions of dry, wet, and light snow. Their special rubber compound reinforces the tire with high strength for solid durability and improved wearability. The Goodride ST100 promises all the traits of a typical trailer tire within a budget. Let’s check out its features and their benefits.

    • Solid load-carrying capacity – The ST100 features full nylon capping for great durability and resistance to damage against cuts, chips, and punctures. Thanks to the double-steel belts, the Goodride ST100 is instilled with enhanced strength and power to withstand heavy loads and vehicle towing capability. The reinforced construction also increases resistance to cuts, punctures, and abrasions.
    • Enhanced fuel efficiency - Backed by the special HEAT-LESS technology, the ST100 trailer tire lowers the friction between the tire and the ground leading to reduced rolling resistance and a higher fuel savings every mile.
    • Adequate traction – The ribbed tread design of the Goodride tire with lateral grooves on the shoulders allows quick water evacuation from the tread to avoid the risk of hydroplaning and boost wet and snow traction. The zigzag tread pattern provides extra biting edges for enhanced traction on different driving surfaces including dry, wet, and light snow.
    • Impressive longevity - While the special rubber compound of the Goodride tire promotes solid tread life, the special HEAT-LESS technology in combination with the heat-resistant compounding slows the tread wear process leading to a longer service life.

I just bought one of these for my travel trailer. The spare was still unused, so I mounted it on the other side. This seems like a good trailer tire. Make sure you don't mix and match radial, non-radial trailer tires.

Got tires right away, was going to go with BF Mud but decided to try these and I'm very happy with them. 10 ply, I pull a trailer up 39% grade with 3 ton of asphalt

These tires are great for the price. I've bought these same tires on two different trailers. One 12,000# equipment trailer and one 9,000# enclosed trailer. I will only buy from simpletire.com for now on.

These trailer tires really don't need winter traction and it's a livestock trailer. The animals haven't complained about road noise.

I order my tires from Simple tire because of the customer service . The prices are great but it is the customer service that has me coming back all the time. One time i ordered the wrong size tire for my truck, no problem, they arranged for the return and sent me the correct ones. And it was my mistake. This is why i shop with Simple Tire !!!
