SimpleTire’s view on General G-Max Justice AW tires

Police vehicles have a lot expected from them. They need to be able to perform a high-speed pursuit safely and effectively, they need traction in all kinds of conditions and they need to be extremely rugged and durable in case they run over debris or rough pavement. The General G-Max Justice AW was designed with all those criteria in mind and is specifically tailored to the power, torque, and handling properties of today’s police vehicles.

General’s SmartGrip design package means dependable traction in all kinds of weather, with steering response that’s immediate and direct. The StabiliTread system puts more rubber in contact with the road for improved handling and braking performance - test track results show braking distances that are considerably shorter with the General G-Max Justice AW as compared to the competition.

The Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification doesn’t come easily – it’s only for tires that can provide dependable control, acceleration, and braking in deeper snow or slush, but the G-Max Justice AW has the 3PMS rating. The silica-rich tread formulation is durable and the reinforced sidewall and subtread are designed to be able to handle a lot of punishment without a tire failure or puncture. General has taken the design ideas from their G-Max family of high-performance tires and upgraded the construction and durability to make a specialty law enforcement tire that’s more than capable of serving the needs of a police department’s vehicles. It’ll absorb hard use without failure, it’s stable for high-speed pursuits, steering response and cornering are top-notch and it’s backed by a 6-year warranty (no mileage warranty) from the manufacturer.
