    Features and Benefits

A combination of rigid block and dry-side patterns ensures that the vehicle corners in an agile fashion and strengthens line traceability. Handling is the main reason for this tire to earn a high Forceum Penta rating. A variable pitch reduces pattern noise to ensure that occupants feel comfortable. The asymmetrical tread pattern helps boost traction. Given below are the various features and benefits of this tire in detail:

    • Good braking ability: These V-rated tires have been built to ensure strong braking performance.
    • Great handling and cornering: The dry-side pattern at the tire’s shoulder boosts cornering and handling abilities, enabling us to award it with an average handling SimpleScore of 8.3.
    • Great traction: While the dry-side pattern at the shoulder enhances dry traction, the wet-side pattern offers multiple sipes for wet grip, resulting in an average traction SimpleScore of 7.6.
    • Reliable driving in wet weather: Three main ribs remove water from the tire’s contact patch to prevent hydroplaning.
    • Long tire life: Multi-adaptive sipes on this tire reduce the rolling resistance to ensure even wear and long tire life, allowing us to award an average longevity SimpleScore of 7.4.

SimpleTire’s view on Forceum Penta tires

The Forceum Penta presents a contemporary take on the standard SUV tire. Its asymmetrical, low-noise layout contributes to a steady and enjoyable driving experience. For safety in every situation, the Penta has three main ribs and a wet and dry side design. While driving on these tires, you can be sure of good braking power and hydroplaning resistance. During the Forceum Penta tire review, we felt that movement from point A to point B with them would never be a problem. These are tires that look good while offering radial construction for stress-free use. Separate dry-side and wet-side patterns are available here to boost traction. Tires like Duro DP3100 Performa T/P and Roadclaw EX80 are more expensive than this tire.

I have these tires on my 2004 SRT-10 Ram and love them. They're quiet, hook and corner exceptionally well in the dry and I've never had an issue driving it in the rain on the rare occasion that I have it out in inclement weather. I live in the south where we really don't have "winter" weather so I can't say anything about that. My only complaint is that they do have a slightly more shallow tread depth than most tires and when you get aggressive with them they do wear pretty fast, but for the price they are well worth it!
