After 19000 miles on the truck Severe feathering
Put on when truck was new never balanced out very well now after 19000 miles on the truck rotating every 4000 miles the edge feathering is no longer wearing down between tire rotations. called dick cepek at 8000 miles they told me that they are an aggressive tire and told me that is to be expected. these are not an aggressive tire in my mind Will never buy them again and yes had the alignment checked .
Love these tires!! Definitely getting another set once these are worn.
I purchased a set a tires from simple tire , great service ,great tires
These are new tires for me. (Less than 1,000 miles) But, so far, I'm very satisfied. I was worried they would be noisy, but they aren't. I was concerned about their wet weather performance but it's been great. I only do light off-roading but it has really increased the ability of my 2wd. So far, I give these a solid recommendation.
Alright so there I was in the great winter storm of 2021 in Houston Texas. Up to 8" of this strange white stuff had engulfed the countryside nothing but me, my 06 ram 2500 Cummins diesel 4x4 and a fresh set of dick cepek all terrains I had purchased the month before. Let me tell ya stuff was getting sketchy. People slipping and sliding all over the place but not me I stuck to the road like a formula 1 car on a hot lap. I pulled probably 15 cars up a steep ice covered hill and never lost traction once. These things are some snow beasts churned that junk up and spit it out like it wasn't even there. Would recommend 11/10 I switched over from Toyo open country on the advice of my local tire shop and couldn't be happier they are quieter, more aggressive, better ride than anything I have had on this truck on the past. 1 week into having them I had to pull a Ford out of a fishing spot he got stuck in nasty black gumbo mud these things didn't miss a beat. Couple weeks back I found myself on a beach testing out my suspension (ICON stage 3 with the new 2.5 Rez shocks 10/11 there also) 65+ MPH and just chewing up the sand in 2 wheel drive.
These tires were great for the first 10-15k. They are cupping and roar loader than any tire I have owned. I have 25k on them and will be replacing them soon due to noise.
We purchased the Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP tires from Simple tire about 16 months ago and we got a better deal than anywhere else. We've made three trips from NW Pennsylvania to central Florida, driven in torrential downpours, two-foot snow storms and about everything in between and I can't find a single thing wrong with these tires. In fact, between our 2015 Jeep Cherokee and our previous 2000 Jeep Cherokee which we owned for 15 years, these are the best tires for such a wide range of uses that I've ever had on either Jeep. I would definitely choose these tires again once the tires I have now wear out.
