  • Cosmo Tires was established in 1994, and believes in finding the perfect balance between performance, quality, safety, and value in their tires. The brand focuses on passenger vehicles, light trucks, trucks, and bus radial segments, while offering tires in categories, such as all-terrain, all-season, performance, and off-road.

The Cosmo MuchoMacho is an all-season performance tire designed for use on passenger vehicles, such as performance-oriented coupes and sedans. The tire has several features and benefits that we will discuss in this Cosmo MuchoMacho tire review. We will also discuss the pros and cons of the tire, with SimpleTire’s views on the tire.

    Features and Benefits

All-season tires are built to be used on paved roads and can deliver reliable performance and long tread life when driven in dry, wet, or light winter weather conditions. All-season tires are generally preferred for passenger vehicles as they have longer tread life, offer a comfortable driving experience, and ensure reliable performance.

The Cosmo MuchoMacho is an all-season performance tire, and can be used on performance-oriented coupes and sedans. The tire features an asymmetrical tread pattern with a reinforced construction. Here are some noteworthy features and benefits of the tire:

    • All-season performance: The tire is designed to provide all-season traction with good performance when driving at high speeds.
    • Enhanced stability: The stiff center rib enhances stability and steering response of the tire.
    • Improved cornering performance: The rigid shoulder blocks improves cornering performance.
    • Increased wet and dry grip: The asymmetrical tread pattern and four wide grooves enhances wet and dry grip.

The Cosmo MuchoMacho is available in a variety of tire sizes, ranging from 16 to 20 inches.

    Pros and Cons

Now that we know more about the features and benefits of Cosmo MuchoMacho, let’s take a look at some of the pros and cons of the tire:

    • All-season traction with good performance.
    • Improved wet and dry grip.
    • Improved stability and cornering performance.
    • Priced at a reasonable price.

Also consider these cons before making a final decision.

    • Does not come with any limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
    • Winter performance is poor.
    • The tread can wear off irregularly.

SimpleTire’s view on Cosmo MuchoMacho tires

If you are looking for an affordable set of all-season tires for your performance-oriented vehicle that actually performs well, then the Cosmo MuchoMacho might be the right fit for you. The tire is designed to deliver a smooth and reliable performance, and features an asymmetrical tread pattern for better wet and dry grip. Additionally, the tire is priced reasonably and can be a great fit for an older vehicle in need of a new set of tires.

Take a look at the Westlake SA07 Sport, if you want better longevity with a 45,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty. However, the MuchoMacho does offer better durability and traction at a slightly lower price.

Vehicles Cosmo MuchoMacho is a good replacement tire for

As the Cosmo MuchoMacho is available in a variety of tire sizes, it can be used as a good replacement tire for different vehicles, such as 2009 Mercedes-Benz E350. 2011 Ford Crown Victoria, 2011 BMW 335i, 2014 Honda Accord, and more.

These things almost lasted me a year, but they're really grippy and I'd never expect a super sticky compound to last forever, especially the way I drive. They're an excellent bang for buck tire!

Very impressed with this tire so far. Seem to be quiet and have a comfortable ride. Also seem to be grippy in spirited driving.

You can't go wrong in getting these tires they are a great price for the performance tire that is great in dry and wet conditions and very quite for a performance tire.

To start off, these tires look great in my opinion. The price point is perfect for anybody on a budget. As far as performance goes, the tread is surprisingly soft and somewhat sticky in the cold and they perform just fine in the snow for an experienced driver like me. In the warmer weather, the tread is also fairly sticky and holds its ground very well. They balanced perfectly, and even have a lip to protect your wheel lip. Road noise is basically non-existent and the tread life is moderate. I'm writing this review one year after installation and I've already bought a second rear pair since. Cheers
