It is hard to talk about Advanta tires without giving out the name of its owner, American Pacific Industries. American Pacific Industries was founded in 1982 and was established to distribute affordable light trucks, commercial, high-performance, and ATV/UTV tires. Based out of Scottsdale, AZ, the company launched a full-line brand called Advanta for making quality tires.

The brand offers world-class customer service and a limited manufacturer warranty for the Advanta ATX 750, a tire that’s capable of conquering any type of terrain. It is also Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, which means that the traction in moderate and cold winters is of a high standard. Based on the above, we felt that an average SimpleScore of 7.7 would be sufficient for this tire. If you’re considering suitable all-terrain tires for your SUV or light truck, read this Advanta ATX 750 review to the end.

    Features and Benefits

Traction is the main reason for the high Advanta ATX 750 rating, as many features promote grip. Not only does the tire have a tread with self-cleaning properties that works overtime to remove debris, but it also has aggressive shoulder blocks that are designed for strong grip. As a tire that can be driven with command, it comes with the following features and benefits:

    • Consistent traction- An optimized design that features stone ejectors ensures self-cleaning by forcing water, slush, stones, snow, dirt, and other debris out of the tread to provide consistent traction. Based on the above, this tire receives an average traction SimpleScore of 8.0.
    • Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol- This tire displays the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol, implying that it can be used in moderate to severe winters.
    • Suitable warranty- Expect the ATX 750 to be available with a limited manufacturer warranty of 50,000 miles, allowing us to award 7.4 as an average longevity SimpleScore.
    • Great handling- The aggressive shoulder blocks on this T-rated tire ensure great handling, based upon which it deserves an average handling SimpleScore of 7.9.
    • Smooth and comfortable- The symmetric tread design ensures that the tire offers a smooth and comfortable ride.

    Pros and Cons

You may find dry traction to be better than wet traction here. This is a tire that can perform in snow and wet conditions due to the trapezoidal claw design on the shoulder blocks that maximize grip. You can expect great stability from the Advanta ATX 750 while negotiating tough terrain. Here’s the lowdown on the pros and cons of this tire:

    PROS:

    • Good traction on- and off-road
    • Three Peak Mountain Snowflake rated for better than expected winter performance
    • Aggressive shoulder blocks provide good looks
    • Backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
    • Feels confident in moderate to severe winter conditions

    CONS:

    • Not suitable for use at high speeds
    • Some customers have pointed out that the tread might wear irregularly
    • The tire can be noisy on paved roads
    • Fuel efficiency could be better

SimpleTire’s view on Advanta ATX 750 tires

During the Advanta ATX 750 tire review, we noticed tremendous traction on various fronts, made possible through different features. A jagged edge tread design helps boost traction, and the stone ejectors remove debris from the treads for the tires to consistently hold on to the surface. A tire like this deserves a warranty and the ATX 750 boasts a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer warranty, so, naturally, the design makes it resistant to cuts, wounds, and chips. Apart from the above, aggressive shoulder blocks enable a light truck or SUV to look attractive when fitted with them.

Winter they were good to great. 1st all terrain tire for me on a Tahoe and it drove with command. Went through 2 winters and they worked great. Wore kinda fast but I did miss a few rotations, I got about 41,000 from them.
