That's why I picked these. Great traction in the snow and ice yet still quiet in the summer, so they are perfect year-round tires in New England.
Just got these. Some noise audible when driving, and you can feel a little also. I've had Cooper and Michelin before...those were smoother and quieter, but didn't handle cornering as well. Very responsive also. These are ok in dry weather and wet pavement. Haven't driven in heavy rain or snow yet. Tire rated at 40,000 miles so I expect they will have soft rubber and wear accordingly.
