Impressive traction off-road
I Have had these tires on my 2008 Toyota 4runner with modified suspension for 7 months and I am extremely surprised at how good they are. Local speeds around town 30-40MPH expect some tire noise due to the deep large lugs these tires have, but on the highway these tires are extremely quiet and you forget your driving a lifted truck on all-terrains. Off-road traction in mud and extremely loose sand is very good and I have about 100 miles of forest roads put on them without an issue. Wet traction is where these tires fall short. In Florida it basically rains every 45 minutes and with the slightest amount of water on the roads these tires will spin from a dig every time. Overall these tires are a great alternative to the more pricy names and provide equal if not more traction than say a BFG K02. I personally like the sidewall design because it looks aggresive and serves as something to dig out of deep mud ruts.
Great dedicated winter tire in CO Highcountry
After sliding around last winter on some cheap, worn ATs, this is a major improvement! We just had our first snow and white roads and I kept at the speed limit comfortably and never once slid. Even at stops! Definitely would wear them out in the summer but they will only see winters so should last a couple of seasons at least.
