Offered from 2003 to 2007, Saturn's Ion compact sedan/quad coupe was built on the same platform as the Chevy Cobalt and HHR, and was available with three trim levels -- creatively named Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. In top-level trim, the Ion featured upgraded upholstery, a full power accessory package, keyless entry and premium audio. The Red Line package (available from 2004 to 2007) came with a tachometer, upgraded headlights and engine tweaks that could spike output up to 246 horsepower.

Got a Red Line Saturn Ion? Think about performance tires like the Michelin Primacy HP, Toyo Proxes Sport A/S, and Continental ExtremeContact Sport. If all-season tires are more your speed, there's the Goodyear Eagle RS-A, Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 and Yokohama Advan Sport A/S.
