These tires did perform well in the mud. With that said i could not get them balanced and they got louder with more mileage. Would be great for an old hunting truck. Not too great on a daily driver. They also hydroplane very badly if there is any standing water.
I didn't think I could find a tire for my Ram 1500, that was tougher than the KO2s that I replaced. I just keep liking these tires better and better. Far better snow and mud traction, quiet for the aggressive tread, great road manners, and just plain tough.
You get what you pay for. While quiet for the first couple thousand miles, know that they will become loud before too long, and especially loud when it gets colder outside. Also, the side wall strength seems to be very weak, along with, in my opinion, an unattractive bulging of the sidewall between the wheel and tread. Another issue with the sidewall was I had them on a leveled 2016 Ram 1500 and I could feel it shifting worse than my KO2s did around corners, despite being rated for heavier trucks.
