Find the right tires for your International

Founded in 1902, International Harvester's core business was tractors and farm equipment, but over the years IH also produced heavy trucks, light trucks, lawn tractors and even household items like refrigerators and air conditioners. One of its most successful models was the Scout; introduced in 1961, the Scout was a tough utility vehicle that took aim at the Jeep and early Ford Bronco. It was available in hardtop, closed-top, pickup and soft-top models; the second generation Scout II was produced until 1980.

A Scout needs a good, sturdy set of tires and the Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT or Toyo Open Country A/T II are all excellent choices for all-terrain light truck tires. If you're wanting something a little more civilized, consider the Hankook Kinergy ST as a great all-season tire that's better suited for pavement.
