2011 Chevrolet Caprice Tires

Very good in dry and wet conditions poor in the snow but I am running very wide wheels

My car is over 4000lbs and about 500hp to the rear tires. Between the weight, power, and a heavy foot, I don't want super expensive tires that I was going to destroy in a season of spirited canyon drives and general semi-daily use. These tires fit the bill better than I was expecting them to for the price point. Several Thousand miles of use, spirited drives, hard launches, and they still don't break loose as easy as I expect them to, and haven't worn down nearly as badly as some other tires I've tried in this same price point. These will probably see a 2nd season after winter the way they're holding up, and I will be buying NT555 G2s again if so.

I was expecting better grip for Nitto's 'supercar tire' but I think they underperform for the price point. Running these on the rear of my 2011 LS3 Caprice ~450hp/420tq. They do really well as a daily tire so far, quiet, corner nicely, seem to be wearing nicely and even, but in the dry and the warm I can floor it from 60ishMPH and I break them loose. From a dig they break loose with any anger applied to the throttle, but they do find traction again fairly quickly, so that's a plus. Good tire, just a bit high priced in my opinion.
