Nexen N'Fera Sport R

The Sport R from Nexen is an Extreme Performance tire that really raises the bar when it comes to handling, braking, and spirited driving in general. The N’Fera Sport R is designed to deliver sticky motorsports-level traction and braking performance, with a tread compound that infuses fine-grade and high-content carbon black along with a special formula of silicone, natural rubber, polymers and fillers. Its performance-oriented asymmetric tread features a solid rib and grooves for nimble steering response, a reinforced shoulder to resist deformation and tread squirm during hard cornering, and two circumferential grooves with a system of Z-shaped notches to help route water away from the tire’s contact patch for wet-weather grip. The expansive outboard shoulder segment is designed for confident cornering traction and minimal tread deformation during hard maneuvers. Internal design details of the N’Fera Sport R include a 2-ply polyester casing with twin steel belts and a pair of nylon cap plies, helping to enhance the N’Fera Sport R’s handling, cornering, and stability.

NOTE: while the tread compound of the N’Fera Sport R delivers glue-like traction on warmer days, its softer, stickier rubber will stiffen up and lose traction in cold weather. The N’Fera Sport R should not be used if temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.

Nexen N'Fera SU1

Designed specifically for high-powered sports cars, the Nexen N’Fera SU1 is a motorsports-derived ultra-high-performance (UHP) tire that’s a great choice for wet or dry conditions. The N’Fera SU1 is designed with three wide circumferential grooves and one semi-groove to efficiently route water away from the tire’s contact patch to resist hydroplaning on wet roads. Innovative split-surface siping helps round out the traction package for wet or dry pavement. Where the N’Fera SU1 really excels, though, is with cornering ability thanks to its increased shoulder block stiffness that evens out stresses on the tire and helps put the vehicle’s weight in the best contact with the pavement. Nexen stands by the n’Fera SU1 with a 25,000 mile limited manufacturer’s tread life warranty.

Nexen N'Fera AU7

The N’Fera AU7 from Nexen is designed as their flagship all-season UHP tire, one that delivers the crisp handling and braking of a UHP with the versatility of year-round traction. Nexen took some of the technology and design from their UHP and summer tires and adapted it to an all-season package, which features four wide circumferential grooves to remove water from the tire’s contact patch and resist hydroplaning in wet weather. A system of angled grooves and sipes helps the N’Fera AU7 get through rainy or light wintry conditions with confidence, and its advanced tread formulation delivers great wear properties along with excellent wet-weather grip and short braking distances. A solid center rib boosts straight-line road manners and nimble, quick steering response, and the tread pitch of the N’Fera AU7 is randomized and computer-tuned to neutralize certain frequencies and overtones, keeping road noise down for a quiet ride.
