A unit of ZAFCO International, Zeetex tire was introduced in 2005 and now operates in over 80 countries worldwide. Manufactured in Indonesia, Zeetex produces tires for passenger cars, minivans, CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks under various categories, including all-season, all-terrain, mud-terrain, and UHP (ultra-high-performance). With a growing inclination towards light trucks, 4x4s, and SUVs, the demand for an affordable mud terrain tire has soared, which brings in the Zeetex MT1000.

Engineered to tackle tough mud conditions, the Zeetex MT1000 is designed for off-road, muddy journeys in SUVs, 4x4s, and light trucks. The tread pattern features anchor-type aggressive tread blocks for enhanced off-road traction and alternate scalloped shoulder lugs to maximize biting edges for increased traction in rocks and mud. While the open shoulder design and stepped block pattern allow easy evacuation of silt and mud, the rugged carcass of the MT1000 bears 3-ply polyester construction for stronger sidewalls and extra durability. Every MT1000 is covered by a free replacement period of up to 12 months or 2/32” and a 5-year warranty.

So does the tire perform up to the mark when put to the test? Let’s find out the answer in this Zeetex MT1000 review.

    Features and Benefits

Mud-terrain tires are designed to offer superior grip, traction, and control on mud and soft surfaces. Their deep grooves and sturdy build ensure a confident drive on challenging terrains. The MT1000 promises to be one.

    • Solid grip and performance: The aggressive tread pattern with anchor-type blocks promotes great off-road traction and grip, while the alternate scalloped shoulder lugs provide extra biting edges to boost mud and rock performance. The open shoulder design with stepped block edges works as a perfect channel to flush out mud, silt, and water.
    • Rugged construction: To counter unwelcomed challenges, it comes with a 3-ply polyester construction that embraces the tire with enhanced resistance to external damages. The solid sidewall design further aids in safeguarding the tire from off-road impacts.
    • Longer life: The special silica compound and reinforced carcass not only ensure enhanced grip, traction, and durability but also promote uniform wear and resist uneven wear. The optimized tread pattern ensures excellent wearability for a longer service life.
