Coming from the house of American Omni Trading Company, Venezia is a Thailand-based tire manufacturer that makes high-quality and performance-oriented tires for passenger cars, CUVs, and SUVs.
The Venezia Crusade HP is the brand’s ultra-high-performance, all-season tire and is designed for use on passenger cars, SUVs, and CUVs. It is engineered for a confident high-speed performance and offers its purchasers a higher value on ownership. This tire boasts a lot of good features and new-gen technologies, and the manufacturer makes a good claim that it’s designed to offer high-speed stability, confident braking, and optimal performance in adverse conditions.
So, is this tire really good in practical conditions, and does what it is designed for? Let’s discuss this in detail in this Venezia Crusade HP tire review.
Features and Benefits
The Crusade HP is an ultra-high-performance tire with better year-round performance skills. It offers sporty handling and quick acceleration, and can also be used in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. Here’re its features and benefits:
- Improved steering responsiveness and high-speed stability – This tire features a unique twin-type center rib design that improves steering responsiveness and high-speed stability.
- Solid grip and confident braking – The silica compound and kerf tread placement assures solid grip and confident braking, thus providing better control over the vehicle.
- Increased wet weather traction – The tread of the Crusade HP features four wide circumferential grooves that easily evacuate water from the contact patch area, thus reducing the chances of hydroplaning. Likewise, the silica compound helps in getting a better grip while driving on wet surfaces and increases the tire’s performing ability in wet weather.
- Quiet and comfortable drives – The tread pattern of this tire gets unique variable pitch sequencing that helps in channeling the airwaves through the footprint, thus keeping the tread noise levels very low and offering comfortable drives.
- Better cornering and maneuvering – The solid shoulder block placement of this tire provides better grip while cornering and helps in seamless maneuvering.
- Enhanced year-round performance – The tread compound of this tire is optimized for better flexibility and enhances grip in both summer and winter seasons.
The Crusade HP is offered in 15 to 22-inch rim sizes, which means it is compatible with a larger set of vehicles. But, it doesn’t come with any tread life warranty.
Pros and Cons
Now that we have discussed the features and benefits of the Crusade HP, let’s know the positives and negatives to learn more about this tire. Let’s go over the positives first:
- Dry and wet traction performance is fairly good
- High-speed stability on straight roads is better
- Noise levels are controlled and rides are comfortable
- Affordable compared to its peers
Venezia makes some impressive claims for the Crusade HP and no doubt, it is good in certain areas but like all other tires, it has a few setbacks too:
- Longevity isn’t as good as some of its counterparts
- Not good for driving in moderate to harsh winter weather conditions
- Not backed by any limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- Some competitors offer better handling and durability
SimpleTire’s view on Venezia Crusade HP tires
The Crusade HP can be considered by those who need an affordable tire with a decent year-round high-speed performance. The tire is good while taken on dry and wet roads, and to an extent, it also manages to provide you traction in light winter conditions. However, it is not something that you can rely upon during extreme winter weather conditions. It also offers better high-speed stability and manages to keep the noise levels minimal to ensure a pleasant ride.
That being said, it may not be the best of choices for purchasers who expect longevity in an ultra-high-performance (UHP) tire. Likewise, the handling and durability scores of this tire are not the best in the category. Additionally, the lack of tread life warranty might disappoint some buyers.
Irrespective of some drawbacks, the Crusade HP justifies itself as one of the best choices against the likes of Atturo AZ800, Evoluxx Capricorn UHP, GT Radial Champiro HPY, Lexani LXUHP-207, BlackHawk Street-H HU01 and Landsail LS588 UHP.
Vehicles the Venezia Crusade HP is a good replacement tire for
Designed for use on passenger cars, CUVs, and SUVs, the Venezia Crusade HP can be a good replacement choice for vehicles like Ford Fusion, Tesla Model 3, Fiat 500, Mercedes-Benz GLC300, BMW 328i, Mazda 6, Hyundai Genesis, and Volkswagen Jetta.

Great tires. Great grip, noise is great. Same set of tires that came with my car, when my car slide off in a ditch In the snowy conditions in the winter, I easily got back out of the ditch no problem! :) and that ditch was quite steep. Love them definitely will buy again.
I live in Florida so I never need a tire for winter. I have driven on many tires with the size 235/30/22 including Continental,Yolohama, Delinte, Toyo, and Nitto. These tires are the loudest I have ever driven on they are very noisy. Traction isnt that good while raining be very cautious as your vehicle can have some drag or possibly skid as mine did. The sidewalls aren't that strong, be very careful while driving with these tires as I had to replace two of them already and the tires dont have an option for warranty. The only good thing about these tires is the tread wear and the price. I wouldn't purchase these again once I'm done with them.
So far so good. These tire look great nice deep tread. They handle great on dry and wet roads. I don't think you can beat this tire for the price. I've got these tires on a Mini Cooper S all-4 and so far they are great. Can't comment on tread life yet and although they are all season tires I would never use these in the snow
I live in SoCal so we don't have a real winter. But I love the tires and price! But the coolest thing by far is the super quick delivery! for me, it was one day! Way to go SimpleTimes!!!
Tires look and handle well but are very susceptible to road hazard. I blew two out on barely noticeable potholes in less than a year. The price for the first order was $77/ tire the second $107 and the third $137. I never would have bought them if I would have know the price would almost double in a year.
Amazing SimpleTire you guys are the best:) Very Happy!!
These are decent tires for a great price.
This is the best deal out there for my 2016 Camaro SS. The tires look and feel great. I was super impressed on how well they handle and perform. You can have those name brand expensive tires that only last 12,000 miles and ride like crap. I'll stick with these going forward.
These tires are very aggressive and handle well on the road. For a low profile tire it beats some of the best brands that are available. I have bought many low profile tire brands which includes some of the best which are Yokohama, continental, and Pirelli and the Venezia certainly fit in that category. I will d efinetely purchase these tires again especially since the price blows the rest of the competition out of the water.
