A premium radial tire, the TR402 is designed for commercial applications in the drive position and offers drivers an extended tread life along with superior hydroplaning resistance.
Features & Benefits
- Tread is designed for commercial use
- Black sidewall
- Built with TriplePrime Tread Pattern Technology that reduces irregular wear to extend tread life
- Finding a set of tires that are built to last and perform in changing weather conditions is a must for most drivers, and the TR402 from Transporter does that and more. Designed for use in the drive position, the TR402’s closed shoulder and rib tread design strengthens stability and allows for even wear, while stone ejectors within the grooves force out stones and other off-road debris to allow for consistent traction. Featuring a center groove that’s designed to help drivers combat hydroplaning, the TR402’s block style center ribs increase traction on loose and wet surfaces. The TR402 is designed in the USA and can easily be retreaded so that drivers can get back on the road quickly.
Designed for use on commercial truckers, trailers, vans, and other hauling vehicles. Commercial tires are often built for use in the drive, steer, axle, or all position in regional, line haul, urban, and pickup and delivery applications.

The highest inflation pressure (measured in pounds of force per square inch, PSI) the tire is designed to contain, and should only be used when called for by the vehicle placard
Measured in 32nds of an inch, this metric shows how much tread life is left on a tire, with the tire's traction & stopping capabilities greatly diminished at 4/32nds and less. Tire manufacturers include "tire wear bars" at 2/32nds to indicate when your tire is worn out
