Unstable & unsafe when turning. Even when these were new in dry weather, it always felt like I was turning aggressively on underinflated, bald tires in the rain. These came new with my compact Toyota Yaris iA. They skidded very easily, my center of gravity very felt high (as if I were driving an economy delivery van), and my car leaned even when I was driving modestly. I had to make significant changes to my driving to compensate for the instability. I've never experienced this with a standard car, even with the cheapest tires on my previous car which was an old, used, and beat up Nissan Sentra. Since these came installed with my Toyota Yaris iA so I just assumed it was a problem with the car itself; It wasn't. I switched these for a set of Continental Pure Contact tires, and increased the width to 205/55 r16 (same rims. It's a safe practice) for good measure. The improvement was drastic and the problems mentioned disappeared. Avoid these for your own safety.
Good in general except for tread life. A new set only lasts maybe around 35K miles.
If you're reading this review you most likely have a 2016 Scion iA and have no other choice in tire because this is the only manufacturer that makes this tire, so no matter what's in this review you're kinda stuck buying these if your 2016 iA needs new tires, but anyways here we go. These tires handle well even after some wear. Be careful in wet/cold conditions, mainly because the tires are narrower than your average tire meaning less traction. The only negative I would note for these tires is the road noise. Of course this may be attributed to the cabin design of the 2016 iA as much as the tires themselves. Regardless you're getting a good tire for your vehicle and my Simpletire experience was great!
I replaced my old tires with Toyo and the difference was obvious. They are quite and have better road handling. Great tires!
Great tire for all around driving, smooth, low noise and good grip wet or dry.
Great tires from Toyo and Simple Tire is one of the few outlets that carries the size I need! Checkout process was extremely easy even with a scheduled appointment and shipping was extremely fast.
Simple Tire was great company to work with and they had best deal.
