Extra-thick shoulder and sidewall lugs on the Toyo Open Country R/T Trail offer better grip and protection from cuts, impacts, and punctures. In addition to improving wet braking and handling performance, its optimized tread pattern with large blocks improves off-road durability and traction, and two-wide circumferential grooves keep water out of the tread, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and increasing wet traction. While the staggered scalloped shoulder blocks provide increased digging force in the sand, mud, and uneven surfaces, its three variable pitch pattern lowers noise and enhances ride comfort.
