Thunderer Tires is a Thailand-based associate brand that engineers tires specifically for the North American market. The company manufactures tires for a range of vehicles including passenger vehicles, light trucks, SUVs, specialty tires, and commercial and trailer tires. The tires are designed to be reliable and deliver smooth performance and Thunderer Mach I R201 is no different.

Thunderer Mach I R201 is an all-season touring tire that’s designed for use on sedans, minivans, and crossover vehicles. The specialized tread pattern, rubber compound, and tire design enable it to deliver good performance throughout the year. In this Thunderer Mach I R201 tire review, we will take a look at some of the features and benefits of the tire, its pros and cons, and SimpleTire’s view to help you make an informed decision.

    Features and Benefits

All-season tires are designed to deliver uniform performance in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions, making them extremely popular among daily drivers. These tires can be used throughout the year and are designed with a specialized tread pattern that is resistant to hydroplaning and ensures a smooth and quiet ride.

The Thunderer Mach I R201 is an all-season touring tire, which means it can deliver reliable performance and traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions throughout the year. However, as it is a touring tire, it can also be used for long commutes on paved roads without losing grip or getting overheated. Let’s take a closer look at the features and benefits of this tire.

    • Optimized performance: The 5-rib all-season tread pattern ensures year-round traction and reliable performance.
    • Durable construction: A jointless nylon cap overlay increases the strength and durability of the tire.
    • Hydroplaning resistance: The lateral and circumferential grooves force water out of the tread to increase wet traction.
    • Good grip: The free tread blocks boost cornering and braking performance.
    • Thunderer warranty: Backed by a no-question asked 25/365 free replacement limited protection policy.

Thunderer Mach I R201 is available in a variety of sizes running from 12 to 17 inches and is also backed by a 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.

I bought these tires yesterday. When i left i noticed a vibration through out the whole car. I took them back to where i bought them and they re balanced them to no avail. Im not sure if its his junky equipment but they wont balance out. Im going to ask him if i take them to another place to have them re balanced if they prove to be out of balance if he will pay for the cost to have them re balanced. VERY UNHAPPY!!!

The tires seem to be fine, I have not had them on very long. Curious to see what they are like on the ice and snow.

Been a few months since I had these tires installed on my 2015 Chevrolet Cruze 2LT. I purchased them on Veterans Day as Im a veteran and got a discount. They were shipped quickly as always by SimpleTire. Not my first transaction with SimpleTire. Had them mounted and balanced by a local professional tire shop. These tires do great on dry roads, marginal to okay on wet roads and they absolutely suck in the snow. The standard load rating of these calls for 40psi tire pressure which is way too much for snow and winter driving as I live in Michigan. I'm a pizza delivery driver and do a LOT of driving which is why I purchased these tires for so cheap. Just a light dusting of snow on the roads will cause horrible handling with these tires. I even dropped my tire pressure to 35psi and they did somewhat better. Still barely any traction at 35psi. Ive been contemplating dropping the tires pressure to 30psi just to see if they handle better in the snow. Dont buy these if tou live in a northern state that gets any real snow.
