The Sumitomo ST709 is a commercial tire that's designed for use on the steer axke of trucks ranging from long haul to local pickup and delivery jobs. The ST709 is designed with sidewall protector ribs that guard the tire from damage, sipes and grooves to slice through standing water, and a wide, flat footprint for even wear.
