Durability and enhanced vehicle handling go hand in hand with the Renegade R/T+ as it comes equipped with wide computerized tread blocks and wide grooves that help deliver reduced noise and longer tread wear. Let’s take a look at the Radar Renegade R/T+ tire review to help understand all its features and benefits at a glance:
- Enhanced traction: Computer-optimized rugged tread design gives off-road enthusiasts maximized sidewall traction and puncture resistance.

SimpleTire’s view on Radar Renegade R/T+ tires
Meant to be used on light trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs that offer its drivers exceptional off-road performance plus strong handling and a smooth ride on-road, the Radar Renegade R/T+ tire can be considered for conquering multiple terrains like mud, sand, rocks, and gravel while ensuring performance with solid handling.
Additionally, the 3-ply construction reduces puncture risks and increases durability and the wide center tread block evenly distributes the vehicle's weight to promote longer tread life. A travel enthusiast can consider this tire for high-traction without losing grip on dry, wet, and winter weather road and terrain surfaces.
It would not be wrong to say that this is a solid tire built to conquer any terrain. If you are looking for more affordable options and are willing to go with an increased warranty, you can consider the Eldorado Sport Fury AT4S or Laufenn X FIT AT LC01 as they offer a little compromised tread life and traction at a lower price.
Vehicles the Radar Renegade R/T+ is a good replacement tire for
The Renegade R/T+ is an ideal choice for a wide range of vehicles on the roads ranging from Jeeps, pickup trucks, and full-size SUVs. This comes as a good replacement option for vehicles like Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, Chevrolet Colorado, Ford F-350-Super-Duty-XLT, RAM 3500-Lone-Star, and many more.

I love these tires and will purchase again. They do pick up rocks in gravel tho.
Overall, tires are decent. They look great, but being a hybrid tire, compromise comes somewhere. And in this case it is in the rain. These are slick as snot. jami
I was on the fence between these and some other hybrid tires that are big named, but I thought I'd give these a shot since the price was a lot better than the others. From day one, I've been very impressed with the looks, the low highway noise, and the grip! Off-road, I found I don't need to put it in 4x4 in places I was forced to in my old tires. The grip on wet pavement is awesome, too! I will definitely buy again and love the service at Simple tire, so they will remain my go-to tire store.
These are amazing tires. Bought them in stock size for my 2012 Ram 1500. The have a very aggressive mud terrain look to them but have the perfect amount of road noise even on the highway doing 65+. When I had the tires installed, the tire place didn't pay attention to the yellow and red dot system on the tires and they shuddered like crazy going over 35mph. I contacted Radars customer service and they were very quick to answer and very helpful. The customer service gal sent me an email on how the engineering dept recommend the tires be mounted and after I took that info back to the tire shop and they remounted them it was night and day difference. These are darn near as smooth as a street tire. I've put about 10-15000 miles on my set and they show little wear. That's included a lot of highway driving and light off road use. I keep a pretty good eye on my tire pressure and I run these kind of high since they are such a heavy duty tire. I keep mine between 45-47 psi and they seem to be wearing evenly. Like the others said please don't stop making this line. I will definitely be buying another set when these have worn out which doesn't seem like it'll be any time soon.
Read alot of reviews that said they was noisy but we have put right at 2000 miles on them and they are very quiet will definitely by again
Great looking tire, not so good in the rain, snow is decent though. Noise well they aren't an M/T tire but they are LOUD. You can definitely hear them above all else. The things we give up for looks, lol.
