I was hesitant to buy any "off brand" tire but I'm glad I did! I have not been able to get my vehicle to hydroplane, or I've yet to lose any and I mean ANY traction in the Maine winter (snow or ice)/ slush. I had them put on this past year in October (2021) and I tried to get my car to hydroplane with these tires, but I couldn't get it to do that in the first big rain after they were installed, and since then I've drove through water/ rain a few more times, snow (up to 3 inches or so), and ice and the car/ tires has not lost traction on my 2012 Camry. I've even driven from Maine to Louisiana and back and the tread wear seems to be pretty amazing as well. When I got to Louisiana with at least 2,200 miles on the tires, the back ones still had bumps all the way across them where the (tits) wear off the tires or whatever the technical name for the excess rubber that is on new tires that looks like spikes is called, and the front still had them a tiny bit but were wore more than the rest from turning etc. The only road noise I EVER hear from these are when I am turning into somewhere, other than that they are quieter than my all season tires and ride smoother. It's only been 1 partial winter so far, but I would give these tires 10/10 if I could, because they deserve more than a 5 star rating, especially when you don't spin at all where you probably should have. 100% would buy again and or recommend.
