Get technical:
The Point S Winterstar ST is a winter tire that's built for use on coupes, sedans, and minivans, and features angled tread blocks and open shoulders that force water, slush, and snow out of the tread for consistent traction. Able to be pinned with studs, where permitted, for extra traction in severe ice, slush, and snow, the Winterstar ST's dense siping bites into the road to increase grip. Additionally, the Winterstar ST utilizes a tough but flexible rubber compound guards the tire against damage while also allowing for consistent traction and performance in lower temperatures.
