The Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2 is a winter tire that's designed for use on coupes, sedans, CUVs, and minivans, and features interlocking 3D sipes that increase grip on icy and snowy roads for shorter braking distances.
Features & Benefits
- Winter tread design
- Black sidewall
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified for use in moderate to severe winter weather conditions
- Built with main groove chamfers that force water out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet roads
Driving in winter weather can be difficult, as ice, slush, snow, and frozen roads all present different challenges. Fortunately, winter tires are designed to provide consistent grip in these conditions, and the Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2 does that and more for drivers of coupes, sedans, CUVs, SUVs, and minivans. Interlocking 3D sipes boost grip for shorter braking distances in winter conditions, and the Cinturato Winter 2's multi-active 4D sipes enhance handling performance on snowy roads. The Cinturato Winter 2's staggered, V-shaped tread pattern funnels water, slush, and melting snow out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning while also packing snow into the grooves for snow on snow contact to help drivers receive consistent grip. Wide shoulder grooves work with narrower center grooves to quickly remove water from the tread to further enhance hydroplaning resistance, and the Cinturato Winter 2's special rubber compound reduces uneven wear to give drivers a longer tread life.
