These Nordman 5 tires are the third set of Nordman brand tires I have purchased. They are much quieter than the Nordman 2 model I used for many seasons. I have not yet used this set in the snow but I'm sure they will be excellent as have been the previous ones. Highly recommended.

I put about 5000 miles on these tires in the winter. I live out in the country, lots of snow, mud, rain , all on dirt roads. I never had any worries ,even in the worst conditions. Tires do not show any real wear yet, so I can not rate wear mileage . Mounted on my 2003 CRV. Delivery was as usual excellant and the price could not be beat.

Bought these for the wife's dodge caliber. We live on top a mountain 2800 ft up a steep narrow gravel road. The previous tires were goodyears, and without flooring the acceration would lose traction on the incline everytime. After experiencing this with our child in the vehicle, I didn't feel safe for them at all. Once mounted and balanced with an alignment, it felt like driving an entirely different car. I drove right up our bumpy mountain at a slow pace with No problem what so ever. Even when the snow covered the road, and was icy, the NOKIAN Nordman 5 tires handled like a dream. These tires handle extremely well in all weather conditions , and that was a great comfort for me knowing my family was safe. Great quality, durability, and price. I highly recommend this manufacturer and specific brand to all who are looking for a Great riding tire. Good tire , also excellent price, quick delivery, had them mounted local, guys at the shop that mounted them said the tread was known to be very good in winter snow, my experience in snow, with an awd CRV was great , no slip on slush or ice, no wear data yet, dropped my fuel economy by about 1 mpg, I guess that is the price for winter tread, worth it for me!
