The Hakkapeliitta 7 from Nokian is a premium extreme weather studdable winter tire. The former record holder for the fastest land speed on ice, this radial comes with the patented Hakka siping, with its flexing zig-zag pattern, that essentially pioneered sipe patterns on winter tires. The innovative studs come in trapezoidal shapes with numerous biting edges. There are air pillows under the studs that reduce stud wear and keep road noise low. Even on dry roads, the tire provides superb handling thanks to the stiffened center rib.
