I had these tires on another vehicle and couldn't be happier. Just drove from New Jersey to Florida on them and the ride was smooth and comfortable. I will be purchasing another set for my wife's Jeep as well.

Nitto Terra Grappler G2 Tire Review
Founded in 1949, Nitto Tire is a subsidiary of the Japanese tire firm – Toyo Tires. Nitto is a tire company that started with unique tire sizes which enthusiasts demanded and soon became a hit. The tire maker rolls out tires for a variety of vehicles including light trucks, SUVs, CUVs, passenger cars, competition, and SXSs. Among its fantastic range of all-terrain tires, the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 is highly sought after due to its impeccable grip and performance on tough terrains.
Made with a versatile rubber compound, the Terra Grappler G2 is the first ever all-terrain tire from Nitto that comes with a limited treadwear warranty of 65,000 miles for hard metric sizes and 50,000 miles for LT-metric and floatation sizes. The sharp edgy blocks with dense grooves and sipes and open shoulder design allow maximum traction on the most challenging surfaces. The Terra Grappler G2 also offers a quiet ride with its optimized variable pitch tread blocks that ensure a comfortable and pleasing ride at highway speeds. It is available in a wide range of 69 different sizes, ranging from 17 to 24 inches. While the Terra Grappler G2 promises superb adventure trails with its robust performance, does it actually deliver on the ground? Let’s find out in this Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tire review.
Features and Benefits
All-terrain tires are engineered to have high-strength carcasses for adding solid resistance to tread against unpaved, rough roads. Let’s have a look at how the Grappler G2 is able to attain the performance it promises.
-
Rugged looks: Nitto tires are popular for their striking appearance and the Grappler G2 is no exception. Tough shoulder lugs extend down to the middle of the sidewall in two different patterns – thunderbolt and blade. The deep sipes on the tread last long so you continue to get the same look even when the tire wears. Block design with a host of grooves accentuates its manly characteristic.
-
Superb grip everywhere: An optimized tread pattern with zigzag grooves and deep sipes delivers excellent performance on challenging terrains. Water, mud, and slush are channeled out quickly from the wide grooves to ensure the traction is never lost. Solid shoulder lugs provide extra biting edges in tough, off-road conditions. Furthermore, the variable pitch tread blocks ensure the noise and vibrations are reduced to a minimum at highway speeds.
-
Max value, longer wear: The use of a new rubber compound ensures the tread of the Grappler G2 offers immense strength while a solid build helps negate cuts, chips, and snags on rough terrains. The all-terrain tread allows for optimal pressure distribution across the contact patch and resists uneven wear. The limited tread life warranty of up to 65,000 miles underlines the long life expectancy of the Grappler G2 tire line.

Before we have our final say, let’s have a look at the advantages and disadvantages of the Grappler G2.

Look great, not loud and ride great.
Simpletire was awesome. Tires showed up in 3 hours!
Bought 4 new G2 Grappler's. They're quiet! Love the grip they give me on the farm, but on the road, now and then, they float. Not sure why, but from time to time it feels like I'm riding on under inflated tires. But they're all inflated to proper specs. As for SimpleTire.Com, they were fantastic! The cost was fair and actually less than others, which included mounting, balancing, and alignment at my choice of service station. These were mounted on my '15 GMC Denali Crew 4WD truck. They're OEM size, so the only thing I would've liked is a slightly wider size.
Fast and courteous service would highly recommend purchasing your tires from simpletire!!!!!
Got them for my ram. They sound nice (not loud) and they seem to ride great as well. My only test so far was mud and they didn't work very well. We're talking like slick mud up to the rim. So they work ok I guess. Absolutely great in snow.
Best tire I've ever owned. Got 90,000 miles on my first set. 79,000 on my second set and I just bought my third.
With our the worst tires I've ever purchased. Belt broke in the tires stone bruise way to easy and they just aren't holding up at 10k miles .I personally will never buy again stick to bfg or general at lease they stand behind there warranty
Good all around tires. Haven't had them long enough to tell how good they wear. Quiet for AT tires.
Great tires, work well in the snow! No noise!! Simple tire was great to work with! Will purchase again
