I would love to WIN the $1000 to purchase new tires for my camper from SimpleTire but, I am never that lucky. So on to the review. Love the selection of tires for all of our vehicles from SimpleTire. The Nexia tires were not what came with the vehicle when we bought it. The OEM tires were junk, didn't ride well and didn't hold up long. We read reviews of the Nexia tires and tried them. Never had any issues. Ride was good and they wore evenly. Always purchase from SimpleTire. Good stock, fast delivery.

Founded in 1942 and headquartered in South Korea, Nexen Tire gets its name from two future-oriented words: next and century. Since 2005, the tire manufacturer has been catering to the US region through its sub-unit, Nexen Tire America, which makes tires for passenger cars, CUVs, SUVs, light trucks, electric vehicles, performance sedans, and sports coupes. Nexen’s portfolio is split into different tire types, which include all-season, winter, all-terrain, UHP, highway, all-weather, mud-terrain, performance, sport, touring, and summer.
The Nexen Aria AH7 is the manufacturer’s touring, all-season tire that’s suitable for use on passenger cars, CUVs, and smaller SUVs. The tire is designed and developed to offer better year-round traction and grip, and is also optimized to enhance the level of comfort, handling, and braking.
But, what exactly is the tire good at? What features and elements does it have to delight a purchaser? And most importantly, can it do what it promises? Let’s do a detailed analysis in this Nexen Aria AH7 tire review to help purchasers make an informed decision.
Features and Benefits
The Nexen Aria AH7 is an all-season tire with better touring capabilities. It can offer enhanced grip and traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions, no matter if you are driving in a town or on the highway. To understand more about this tire, let’s have a look at its features and benefits.
- Enhanced year-round performance – The Aria AH7 is engineered to provide year-round traction and grip. The tire features an all-season tread compound and an advanced symmetric tread pattern that boosts traction and grip in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. The wide circumferential tread grooves boost water channeling, making this tire good for use in wet conditions. Additionally, the sipes on the tread blocks augment traction and grip in dry and wet weather.
- Improved grip and cornering at high speeds – The increased block stiffness of this tire provides improved grip while cornering at high speeds. These stiffer tread blocks protect the tread elements from shifting while the tire is in motion and provide a better road grip.
- Reduced tread noise levels – The computer-optimized 5-rib pitch sequence arrangement of the Aria AH7 reduces the tread noise generated while the tire is rolling, thus offering a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
- Longer and even wear – The symmetric tread pattern of the tire creates a uniform tread design that reduces the risk of even wear by equally distributing the cornering, acceleration, and braking forces across the tread area and ensuring a longer and even tread wear for an increased tire life.
- Better steering responsiveness, stability, and control – The computer-tuned tread design, uniform block distribution, and block stiffness improve steering responsiveness, allowing the vehicle to respond as per the driver’s commands. These tread elements also provide stable rides and offer better control during highway tours and high-speed drives.
- Exciting warranty coverage – Nexen is known for its best-in-segment warranty offerings and the same is the case with the Aria AH7 which is backed by an exciting limited manufacturer tread life warranty coverage of 80,000 miles.
The Nexen Aria AH7 is offered in a total of 25 sizes for 15- to 18-inch rims, which makes it suitable for most passenger cars, CUVs, and smaller SUVs in the US.

- Smoother and quieter than many of its counterparts
- Innovative design and durable build quality
- Backed by an exciting 80,000 miles limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- More affordable than many of its peers
- Enhanced steering responsiveness and handling in wet conditions
There are some areas where this tire may not please much. Let’s look at the negatives of this tire and find out what can possibly disappoint the tire seekers:

SimpleTire’s view on Nexen Aria AH7 tires
The Nexen Aria AH7 is a comprehensive package for those who seek a reliable all-season tire. It does a great job when it comes to performing in dry and wet conditions. The handling, traction, and steering responsiveness in these conditions are better than most of its competitors. Likewise, the tire is smooth and quiet when driving on highways or city roads. The design and durability standards of this tire are remarkably good and the solid 80,000 limited manufacturer tread life warranty coverage assures complete peace of mind to the buyer.
Price-wise, the tire doesn’t put a dent in the wallet, however, it doesn’t mean that there aren’t any further affordable options available. There are other choices that are priced lesser, but considering the value this tire offers, it deserves applause. The only major drawback of this tire is its sluggish performance and handling on snow and ice.
The Aria AH7 competes against the likes of Laufenn X Fit HP LA41, Lexani LXTR-203, Atturo AZ610, and Kumho Solus TA51a.
Vehicles the Nexen Aria AH7 is a good replacement tire for
Designed for use on passenger cars, CUVs, and smaller SUVs, the Nexen Aria AH7 is a good replacement choice for vehicles like Mazda CX-7, Nissan Rogue, Honda Odyssey, Kia Carnival, Toyota Sienna, Hyundai Santa Fe, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Subaru Forester.

New vehicle, tire tread life is to be determined. I live in Florida so the Winter Traction is NA. Rides nice, handles nice. Road noise is typical. Will likely purchase again.
I have a fleet of Chevy Sonics for tech cars. We have used other brands with many problems. We switched to Nexen and very rarely have any issues -not even so much as a flat tire. My technicians are hard on the cars and the tires. We have been running these tires for two cycles now with no issues. Highly recommended!
Nice tires but I noted a substantial reduction in miles per gallon while on the expressways.
Excellent tires, excellent price!
these tires are too of the line at a low cost. they ride well and handle great. Mine show very little treadwear after a 2500 miles. will buy again.
Best value. Great quality!
These tires are some of the most underrated tires around. They dont cost as much as the big name brand but out perform them.
These are very great tires especially for the price and I would recommend them to anyone. I am running them on my accord and they ride tremendous.
