I was looking to replace my worn front Continentals that were installed on an used but well maintained 01 Taurus wagon with traction controll that I had recently purchased with 97K on the clock.. The rears had been fitted with the XT 4000's and from the looks of them they had roughly two to three K on them, wanting to avoid a mismatch issue I was in need for a set of the same tire brand. I live in the Twin Cities and you would think that I could find the tires locally..Not! Long story but I found them at Simple Tire. I love the tread design and with the horrid winter we had they preformed very well at dispersing the slop and gripped well in most conditions, I must add that no stock tire will preform well on ice..are you listening out there SUV and AWD drivers? Thank you Simple Tire.
