I purchased these to be my "Summer" set. They lasted just into the second season with under 10,000 miles. Tread life was horrible and they easily hydroplaned in the rain. They are noisy and not a tire I would trust to be driving with.

I like these tires better than the pirellis and the hankooks i had before. quieter than them both and smoother ride. Im thinking about buying 4 more for the future since these are discontinued and supplies will be running out

Good tire for the money.they flat spot in morning though and don't balance out very good,also a little noises.Beats $300 a tire though.

The SP-5 from Nankang is a passenger performance tire with features designed perform well in highway and city driving. The SP-5 is designed with water evacuating groove patterns that force water away from the drive path for increased traction in wet weather conditions. An added groove in the tread block prevents road noise from becoming a problem while durable construction materials create a long lasting tread pattern. The SP-5 is a daily commute tire rated for normal driving conditions, including wet weather.
