MRF, formerly known as Madras Rubber Factory, began as a small rubber balloon factory in 1946 in Madras (now Chennai), India. Started producing treads in 1952, MRF makes tires for two-wheelers, passenger cars, SUVs, CUVs, tractors, light commercial vehicles, light trucks, off-the-road vehicles, trucks, buses, trailers, and even airplane tires.
