In 2016 I needed snow tires for my business ride, a 2016 Buick Encore FWD. I wanted cheap and the local tire guy said "we'll, we have these - I don't know anything about them, but they're cheap". So I took em. Since then I've mounted them on 4 different vehicles and I estimate that I've put 50,000 miles on them. To this day they still look new - they don't wear! And most importantly they are tremendous in the snow. Been through hell with these. I got caught in a wicked blizzard in Scranton PA and had to make to Philly when no one else would dare - they performed flawlessly and I believe saved my life. If you can get these tires, get them.

Great tire at a great price. Couldn't have been happier with the buying process..recieved the tire within a few days and shipping was free! Will definately be purchasing all of my tires from here!
Only had issues in soft slippery slush otherwise it put a lot of confidence in my front wheel drive car
I drive a sports car so was a little nervous about driving in the ice and snow but these tires performed great and made me feel safe on the ice and snow.
great winter tire so far...500$ for 4 new studded balanced and installed...hard to do much better.
I bought these tires after reading a few positive reviews on sites like simpletire and also knowing someone who had a set from last year. I used to run Blizzaks since before they were well known and ultimately very expensive. I had also read that although very good tires, many of the best quoted tires were over-priced and alternatives just as good are out there. I bought the Minerva's about a week before our first big snowfall and we've had 3 since them so I have driven with them in most typical winter conditions except extreme ice and they faired very well. On the drive home from getting them installed I was pleasnatly surprised to find they didn't make much noise compared to the tires I had last year -Sonny and they didn't feel as squirmy as many snows do. The car's default spec is 245/40 18 and these Minervas are 225/45/18 so being narrower they should aquaplane less than the stock size over slush. I can't attest to their durability but I expect to get 3 winter's use from them and for the price even if it's only 2 yrs it was worth it. They cost less than half the price of Blizzaks et al.
I purchased these on a whim, taking a chance on what is essentially a no name brand. My research shows that these are available under different brand names depending on retailer and region. Initially, I was impressed with the quality look and feel of the tire, not many casting marks/junk, and very soft rubber, with decent tread blocks and excellent siping. I had them installed during one of the first snow storms of the winter, and was impressed on the drive home. The car (2016 VW GTI) felt very confident at speed, and had no issues with the snow covered highways. They also did not take a ton of weight to balance on my factory 18" wheels. I have noticed that in snow that is more wet, that they aren't quite as confidence inspiring, however they still impress in icy and in deeper snow conditions. For the price, I don't think there is a better winter tire out there, and I figure if they last even 2 years I'm ahead of the game cash wise. With the wear I've seen this winter, I think 3 years of use will not be an issue.
I listed the mileage as good, but that is to be determined in several thousand miles.
These tires allowed me to drive right out of the long snow-choked driveway without any problem. They have made my AWD Taurus a real winter-driving beast whereas the tires they replaced didn't have enough traction to get me off a slight grade with one inch of snow.
Tires are nice and quiet, work well in most weather conditions, but are slightly less than good in snow than most snow tires, but better than all seasons, would probably be great with studs. For the price i would buy them again, but was disappointed in the tread blocking.
