Looking for a tire that can deliver superior dry and wet traction while enabling you to push hard? As the name suggests, the Lexani LXUHP-107 is an ultra-high-performance tire that’s built specifically for use in warm weather conditions. It is manufactured by Nexen Tires of America in South Korea and is meant for enthusiasts looking for comfortable and efficient tires at an affordable price. Since Nexen is popular in the world of tires and the company has a manufacturing facility in California, you should seriously consider Lexani LXUHP-107.

But is this the right tire for you and your ride? Let’s take a look in this Lexani LXUHP-107 review.

    Features and Benefits

    Lexani LXUHP-107

Launched in 2013, Lexani LXUHP-107 tires are available with a W speed rating that enables them to touch a maximum speed of 168 mph. You’ll notice an asymmetrical tread pattern on them that boosts handling performance and traction while undergoing free rotations (carry out tire rotations every 5,000 miles for even tread wear). One of the reasons for the Lexani LXUHP-107 rating to be high is that they last long despite being without a limited manufacturer warranty.

Here is a look at the benefits:

    • High-performance silica rubber compound boosts grip
    • Long life due to innovative internal design with twin steel belts
    • Low road noise for enjoyable driving experience
    • Prevent hydroplaning on wet surfaces
    • Suitable for daily driving
    • Even distribution of acceleration, braking, and cornering over the tread area

    Pros and Cons

During the Lexani LXUHP-107 review tire, we received a very aggressive feel that showed great promise during agile cornering. Apart from the performance-based features, these tires also look very good on sports cars due to the luster from the tread compound. Below are more insights into Lexani’s technology:

    Pros

    • Computer-tuned tread design enhances ride comfort
    • Excellent dry and wet traction
    • High speed rating due to advanced performance engineering
    • Superior handling performance
    • Polyester and polyamide tread plies increase tread life

    Cons

    • Cannot be used at temperatures below 45 F
    • Slightly noisier on highways

Recently drove from KY to Miami, FL, I must say these tires held up really well. Just can't believe the low road noise(u barely year on good roads). Even drove in the rain @ somewhat high speed & they still held up. I think I found my best rubber.

After a year on these tires I was suprised when I checked the thread to see that more than half has worn off in about 15,000 miles. The are terrible in snow and ice. I would not recommend these tires.

Great set of tires, don't think I would recommend for winter use though as I was not getting good traction on snow/ice in the winter months.
