The Lexani LXHT-106 is a highway terrain tire that’s built specifically for SUVs, crossovers, and light trucks. While Nexen Tires from South Korea manufactures these tires, Lexani was formed to control the business in America in 1996. For the US, Lexani tires are being manufactured in a huge California-based manufacturing facility. The company has often been known for designing custom alloy wheels and today has these for exotic sports cars and luxury automobiles. That being said, the purpose of this Lexani LXHT-106 review is to establish how suitable it would be for your vehicle.
Features and Benefits
The Lexani LXHT-106 is essentially a touring tire for a large vehicle like an SUV. HT stands for Highway Terrain, which means these tires are primarily meant to deliver great performance and a refined experience on paved roads. Do not expect these to exhibit high longevity if being driven on rough terrains. The speed rating for Lexani LXHT-106 is Q, which means the tire can be driven safely up to a speed of 100 mph.
The Lexani LXHT-106 rating is high for ride comfort as they feature a computer-tuned tread pattern that decreases road noise. For maximum traction on dry and wet roads, there are suitable grooves and sipes. More rubber, due to large shoulder blocks, helps boost cornering performance while a closed shoulder design enables the tire to exhibit even wear. Additionally, the ribbed pattern of the tire increases driving stability and steering responsiveness.
Pros and Cons
Road noise is reduced while the tires are in motion due to the tread's variable pitch sequence. It produces a sound frequency that lowers the amount of road noise perceived inside the car.
Pros
- Wide circumferential grooves drain water to prevent aquaplaning
- Provides traction throughout the year
- Symmetrical tread pattern ensures a smooth and comfortable ride
- Some drivers have noted better fuel efficiency
Cons
- Needs better traction in winter
- No mileage warranty
SimpleTire’s view on Lexani LXHT-106 tires
For those looking at budget-priced highway terrain tires with decent dry and wet traction, the LXHT-106 is a great option. Despite being suitable for SUVs, light trucks, and crossovers, do not expect it to perform well on off-road terrains. Offering a surprisingly quiet and comfortable ride, the LXHT-106 is ideal for individuals who regularly travel long distances on highways.

Really good tire I will buy from you all every time I need tires
Tires balanced with the highest weight of 1.50 Gas mileage increased at a estimated 2.2 miles per gallon Noise and ride much better Overall not bad for the price.
Ive had these tires balanced twice and they still give a really bad vibration on the highway.. both mechanic shops said it's just the tires... they were very cost effective but the vibration ruined it for me..
These tires are good all season tires. I wa expecting them to be noisy for the price but they surprised me. Very comfortable and grip well on the road.
Road Noise tremendously decreased with these great tires ! Fast delivery, reliable, would order again !!!! GREAT PRICE .......
Have had the tires mounted for almost a month. The initial ride, noise and handling are great!!
Have only had them just over a month, but very pleased with the Lexani tires so far.
