These tires have a smooth ride but have really bad road noise. It sounds like a jet plane. Not happy with the noise at all. I don't know if these are 2nd quality tires or not, but there is a red dot on these tires for some reason. I will not but these tires again. They have a great price and I needed a good price to be able to afford new tires at the time, but I will have to live with them for a while.

Knowing this, Hankook built the Optimo (H725) to give drivers of coupes, sedans, CUVs, and SUVs a long tread life plus strong traction and performance year-round. A simple shoulder design reduces irregular wear to promote a longer service life, and the Optimo (H725)'s abrasion resistant rubber compound protects the tire from cuts, chips, and other damage. Wide grooves within the tread of the Optimo (H725) drain water out of the tire to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet roads, while tiny slits within the tire that are known as kerfs cut into ice and snow for consistent traction in winter weather. Specially designed tread blocks provide stability to reduce stopping distances, and the Optimo (H725)'s light belt cord inside of the tire reduces rolling resistance to help drivers save at the pumps.
